The adventure continues... Feb 26, 2008
by Kakashi's Kunoichi
The second volume in the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle saga is every bit as wonderful as the first manga release from this series… Once again the creative team at CLAMP displays their artistic and storytelling genius. ( I have to say that I love all of the cover art on the first three volumes that I own, but this one is my favorite so far! )
Volume Two continues the adventures of our dimensional travelers in the Hanshin Republic, that began in the first book of this series, with chapters six through thirteen… Will our heroes be able to locate the Princess’s feather? You’ll have to read it to find out. ( Remember, I don’t like to spoil things! )
Delrey provides us once more with an explanation of Japanese Honorifics and a brief bit of information about the creative team at CLAMP… Also included are new sections with info on some of CLAMP’s past works and new translation notes. ( I think the translation notes are a lot of fun. )… There is also an English preview for Volume Three.
Bottom Line: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Volume Two is another terrific manga that would make a wonderful addition to any manga collection!
Kakashi's Kunoichi also recommended: Carcaptor Sakura, Noein, InuYasha,
