Accompanied by their blustering bodyguard Alex Armstrong, our heroes seek out a childhood friend: Winry Rockbell, mechanic extraordinaire, who can fix their battered "automail" bodyparts. A little glue and spackle, and they're ready to continue their quest for the Philosopher's Stone, both in the dusty stacks of the central library, and in the city's heavily-guarded alchemical labs. Before they find the stone's secret, they must face Number 48 and Number 66, souls sealed in undying metal and given a license to kill. But immortality is one of the least of an alchemist's powers…and a metal body is no obstacle to someone who controls the building blocks of matter itself!
Ed finally gets home and you meet Winry and Pinako Rockbell. They repair Ed's automail arm and more about Ed and Al's past is revealed.Here we meet Sheska, whom helps Ed and Al on their search for the Philosper's Stone. They wind up in Lab 5, which is forbidden to go into supposably.
