When the demons step up their attacks, a desperate Roddrick enters a pact with Zadie to destroy the invaders, which his co-conspirator does with his typical zeal. But Asbul warns Roddrick that the manipulative Zadie will ultimately betray human and demon alike.
Down in the underworld, Karon, ruler of the demons, tends to Hilda whose near-fatal wounds he has miraculously healed. Hilda is only a stepping stone for the Lord of Hades, of course, on his way to conquering Laures. But Laures must first contend with Titan, the strongest demon to ever live. Only if he survives that can he enjoy his final, deadly confrontation with Karon.
