A laugh-out-loud funny yaoi manga! Nov 21, 2008
by B.Anne
This is the first yaoi manga I've read that actually made me laugh out loud - not just once, but several times throughout the book. Mutsuki is the president of a company, trying to fulfil his father's command to be an evil-dicatator sort of leader, but he's hopeless at it. He has no clue how to be evil, and his attempts to do evil deeds (such as ringing people's doorbells and running away) are just hilarious. He meets and falls for Torii, an employee who's shocked to learn that Mutsuki is his company president. Torii is asked by a company VIP to become a 'defender of virtue' and foil Mutsuki's evil schemes - such as they are - and things just get funnier.
The characters are more attractive inside the book than they appear on the cover, and the artwork, while pretty, is graphic (no blank spaces here!) The only problem I had was that Torii looks almost identical to Mutsuki's brother, and it's sometimes difficult to tell them apart.
All-in-all, I highly recommend this to yaoi-lovers, and will look forward to more of Tamaki Kirishima's work.
