With the Final Selection over and the magic violin gone forever, Kahoko faces a new challenge: learning to play for real! With Shinobu, a gifted Seisou Academy alumnus, as her private instructor, she begins to master the violin. But as Kahoko's friendships with the guys from the music competition deepen, she finds it harder to give her heart to music alone. And the arrival of a talented--and handsome--new student doesn't make things any easier! Every few years, the prestigious Seiso Academy holds a prominent musical competition, and only the very best students at the Academy are allowed to participate. Though all are eligible to apply, only students from the music department actually make it to the competition...until now.
