I'm not really a Shadow fan [as he looks like a Sonic repaint] so I bought this one for a friend of mine, even so, I was really impressed by this toy.

Shadow's character and personality are well captured, and the level of detail sewn into it is incredible, the blurry and duller picture shown here really doesn't do it justice. Almost every detail and colour variation shown on Shadow in game/show has been faithfully reproduced here in good detail and vibrant colour; from sewn on red highlights on his spikes to an accurate red underside to his eyebrow. The colours look awesome together, including the yellow string which you can suspend him from, and like the other plushes from this series I've bought, is made from different kinds of fair quality fabric, soft and slightly fuzzy for the most part, with slick and smoother fabric on his eyes, shoes and gloves. The head and spikes are all fully shaped and sewn in 3d, not flattened or misshaped, with the result of a heavier but better made toy. The only possible flaw in the otherwise perfect design is felt used for the white tufts of chest fur, which may possibly be pulled loose if subjected to really rough treatment/deliberately pulled on/fed to dogs. Assuming you don't plan to do that to Shadow, durability shouldn't be an issue.

This toy is really cool; even as a non shadow fan I'm tempted to get one for myself, and any big fan of shadow's or even someone who just likes the series/games should be really happy with this.
