Fuyuki Hinata is obsessed with aliens. One day, while teasing him, his sister points to the wall saying that there is an alien there. To her surprise, a frog-type creature removes his camouflage, wondering how she found him out. Sergeant Keroro has come to Earth with the intention of taking it over for his planet. Unfortunately for him, the Hinata siblings overpower him and take his weapon. Sergeant Keroro is left on Earth when it is made known to his forces that the Earthlings have potentially learned of their arrival. Abandoned, Sergeant Keroro is forced to live on Earth with Fuyuki, Natsumi, and their eccentric mother until he can reestablish contact with his home planet.
