the only thing i didn't like about this anime is that it ended. i love the plot and i have to admit hatsuharu sohma is my favorite character in this anime. the short hand of this anime is that a girl finds her self living in a house full of sohma's with a BIG secret. once she learns that secret her world turns upsidown and she learns to live a very strange life full of suprises. this amazing anime was too short in my view because the manga keeps going past the anime. if i recal the anime stops near book 7 or 8 of the manga and at the moment the manga is at book 19. also in the manga you meet alot more people so i also strongly recomend reading those as well as buying the anime.

this dvd is okay but personally i think the manga series is better. the animation is grand but the series only go up to around vol.6 of the manga. the ending of it is brilliant because you get to see the vulnerability of the characters better than in the manga. overall it was good and worthy of the buy.

Fruits Basket the Anime is almost as good as the original manga series! This Anime is off the hook!
Fruits Basket is an amazingly funny and cunning TV and manga series! Win Thoru's mother dies in a car crash she moves in with the three SoMAs. Yuki, Kyo, and Shuguri, little does she know that there family is under a sacred curse. When they're put under a great deal of stress or are hugged by a member of the opesite sex they are changed into the 12 animals(and the cat) of the Chinese Zodiac! Then Thoru sets of to try and break the curse! Fruits Basket will get you hooked as soon as you pic up the first book! So buy them all today!
