Graduation is right around the corner for Hayate but he still faces the challenge of passing his final exams. His studies are distracted by possibly being replaced by a robot, a "date" with Hinagiku, movie club activities and a quiz show. Hayate's loyalty to Nagi will even be tested but he will ultimately learn that their destinies are intertwined when he mysteriously travels back in time to save a young Nagi from the Mafia.
