Shydeman and Shyrendora, aided by a secret filial link to someone in the Dragon Castle, are able to weaken Lord Lykouleon's protective shield beyond the breaking point and attack the castle. As the demons attack, Rath begins the process of reviving Nadil, which involves cutting off his own head and placing the head of the fallen demon leader on his body. Cesia, Kai-stern and the rest of the Dragon court work to bring Rath back, but only a sacrifice from within their ranks will revive the fallen Dragon Knight.
