  Product Summary
Gods and demons wage a never-ending battle with the mortal realm as their battlefield. As with most long-standing feuds, the reasons are no longer important - hatred is a way of life. But it is foretold that one will arise who can restore harmony between gods and demons.

Enter Raenef, heir to a set of demon royalty, he is hardly courtly material. The demon king assigns Eclipse to be his tutor, to mold Raenef into proper demon shape. The two begin a journey of discovery, and are soon joined by a human knight and a god-blessed priest.

    I couldn't stop laughing     May 26, 2007     by demonic_kitten

This comic is so amazing, it's hilarious. If you want a good laugh just pick up the first volume of Demon Diary you don't even have to read the rest of the series which is more serious than the first book. It's about a young demon who just found out he is a demon lord. He has no clue what he is doing and not capable of learning how to be tactful. He has an advisor that does the best he can but its not enough in the first volume. As before stated the series gets more serious later on when the young lord learns proper demon lord ways and such. Overall a great series that I highly recommend. It is slighily yaoi but nothing is really emphasized or shown.

    It's kind of a comedy! :) Vol. 1     Aug 17, 2010     by Lauren Bedford

Demon Diary definitely tricked me. I picked it up thinking I would get a serious story of a demon--but ended up being more entertaining than I would have imagined! Don't get me wrong, it does have a serious plot and they do have twists that are not expected.

(This story does imply some affectionate bonding between tutor and student/demon lord--but I wouldn't even quite considerate to be shounen-ai or yaoi.)

Note for Volume 1: Demon Diary also has two (completely unrelated) short stories at the end of Demon Diary Volume One. Crystal Heart and Terra. Possibly LeeChiHyong's or Kara's advertisement for other stories/art--but otherwise unrelated to the story of Demon Diary.

Lauren Bedford also recommended: Cardcaptors, Chrono Crusade, Desert Coral, DNAngel,
