Kitchel and Ringsley are able to find the three treasures in the submerged water corridor in the lost continent of Arinas and encounter a corps of Dragon Warriors who are also trapped. But they cannot reach each other because of a spell that Kharl, the alchemist, has placed on them. Meanwhile Rath and Cesia close in on Mt. Mfartha.
They stay at an inn where, as luck will have it, they meet up with Kai-stern.
