Lord Lykouleon has dispatched the three Dragon Knights to separate corners of the realm. Rune journeys to the Faerie Forest to investigate reports of its demise at the hands of the demons. On his way, he partners up with a mysterious drifter and a little girl being hunted by the Yokai.
However, things are not as they appear, for the little girl possesses a power beyond imagination, and good spirits turn bad as the forces of darkness continue their quest to take over the Forest. Only Rune and the mysterious drifter can save the Faeries from extermination
