Sarasa has assumed the identity of Tatara, and gone on to lead her people against the tyranny of the Red prince. Sarasa'a life has becomre intertwinded with the Red Prince's in a way that neither of them realize. After meeting at the hot springs, they find themselves charmed by each other without even realizing that they are in fact, rivals. After a failed attempt to save the villagers, the despairing Sarasa goes off in search of Sakura Island - home to one of four ancestors whom she must haste to forge a power great enough to defeat the king.
