Such an amazing novel (: I've only read the first two and I'm HOOKED. A manga collection is NOT a manga collection without Zombie Powder in its midst. ^^

Zombie Powder! Jun 19, 2007 reviewed by Eimajtl
Another great series by the artist of the well known series, Bleach. Kubo Tite really shows what he is made of in these four short volumes. It is a must read for anyone that likes Trigun, Bleach, or any other manga with a great story!
Akutabi Gamma, C.T. Smith, and Elwood are a trio of amazing and deep characters. Each is as dynamic as if they were the main character! The story only helps further their greatness.
I would HIGHLY reccomend everyone read this series.

Let's face it, it's not all it could have been! Jan 05, 2008 reviewed by Pippin4242
Zombie Powder is a hugely exciting manga for fans of Bleach. It's great fun to see what ideas and character designs were used, altered or discarded in Kubo Tite's far more successful series. But on its own, one must admit that Zombie Powder is a fairly generic adventure story, and with no final chapter to the canceled manga, there seems little point in purchase for people new to Kubo Tite's work. The heroic figure of the story, Gamma Akutabi, is relatively engaging, but often comes off as an amalgam of characters from other successful series. It's fun to see that Elwood, the author's first published protagonist, wasn't a fighter at all, and there's also interesting bonus material throughout the published books for hardcore fans of the author. All in all, an entirely worthwhile and rather enlightening read for anybody waiting for the next release of Bleach, but I can't really see that people who aren't fans of Kubo Tite's existing work would enjoy this particularly.
