Slightly Above Jun 16, 2007

Zodiac P.I. is a slightly above average four volume series that is a mix of mystery, romance, and fantasy. It is about a teenage girl who solves cases with the help of her star ring, which brings little chibi spirits of the different horoscopes out to get clues on the current mystery. The series starts off kind of slow, but it soon picks up when we meet the 'just moved back friend from childhood' who joins the main character in solving mysterys.
The main plot of the series is really to find out what happended to the main characters mother, which is more intersting then it sounds. This is a good series if you are a mystery lover or if you are into romance, it maybe made for the younger age group, but I think all ages would be able to enjoy this series just fine. Though not the best series out there Zodiac P.I. makes for a nice short read.

Zodiac P.I. was one of my first manga series, and definately one of my favorites. Not only is it adorable, but it's also full of mystery and murder. For girls like me who like murder mysteries and cute stuff, it's #1.

Cutesy, but entertaining Jul 07, 2007

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime; especially if you fall under the radar of Spica the Zodiac P.I! Natsumi Ando exhibits her talent to all those young Nancy Drews out there with her 4 vol. hit series Zodiac P.I.
The story's plot unwinds with Junior-High school student,Lili Hoshizawa. You could say she's your typical 13 year old, with the exception of her fortuntelling ring, thats able to help her solve murders and catch the culprits, her father that's the head of his own police force, and her mother who has been missing for over a year without so much as a trace.
Fantasy, drama, mystery, action, comedy, romance; what genere dosn't this series have? If you like a good murder mystery with plot twists and surprises, or just a little laugh at the stumbling and bumbiling of young love, give this title a try. Follow Detective Spica into her world of mystery, and mahem, and see if she is able to solve the biggest mystery of all; her life.
