Hilarious and Enjoyable May 29, 2007

I'd personally put Yellow on my list of 'Must Read Yaoi/Shonen-ai Manga' list. If you're interested in the genre, but don't know where to start, here's a good place to. Even after reading lots of other series, Yellow is still one of my favorites. It's incredibly funny. The plot scenario is brilliant: Goh and Taki are work-partners. Goh is gay, Taki is straight. Buuuut--Goh loves Taki. Thus, hilarity ensues. It begins with a few shorter missions of theirs, but the series eventually follows a really dramatic plotline involving Taki's past. I'd definitely reccommend this series to all!

4 Vols Wasn’t Nearly Enough Jul 30, 2007

Goh and Taki are “snatchers” or guys to do odd jobs for the cops when things like the law get in the way. Mostly they locate and steal drugs. So how’s it yaoi? Easy Goh is VERY gay and Taki isn’t. Even though the two begin with the understanding that Taki isn’t Goh’s type everything quickly changes.
I love this series – in fact it is my favorite. It is a yaoi with a real plot that comes to a real conclusion. No girly “let’s get married” or shop for matching rings or any other dumb plot that you’ve seen before. Simply put once they get together (no spoiler it was pretty frickin obvious look at the genre) the boys like to be with each other because they are compatible, i.e. have similar tastes, and sex is fun. And the scenes are so much fun! Even early on groping scenes are great at making the fangirl in us all scream KYAA!
The downfall to the series – it is best purchased as a set. The plot is fast and addictive and once over leaves you wishing there was a fifth volume.

Great Yaoi! A Must Read! Oct 08, 2008
reviewed by Grimm Deathberry
This is my favorite yaoi because *gasp* it actually had a story!
In my exprience, a large amount of yaois tend to have sex first, ask names and backgrounds later. Where with Yellow, it gives you something other than the smut to get engadged in. Not saying that smut doesn't have it's place. XD
And the Makoto Tateno has some beautiful art. ^-^
