Wild 7 is awesome. Its like an old school anime like Speed Racer, crossed with C.H.I.P.S, but with a more adult, violent slant to it. The storyline is super simple, with a simple cast of characters... like a hippy, a strongman, a baseball player and a chef (all on motorcycles mind you!) as a few examples. The art captures perfectly the fashion of the era (late 60's, early 70's) with tonnes of plaid pants and one dude with a snake skin suit... brilliant! Its not a sophisticatd read by any stretch, but its a fun one. I'm pretty sure that this concept was cutting edge for its time(especially by American comics standards of this period), one that has been attempted by duplication and have failed miserably (DC's Suicide Squad as a example... yech!). I liked Wild 7 alot, just for the sheer campiness and fun loving spirit it conveys. Good toilet reading.
