For a long time I have avoided this title because descriptions simply fail to do it justice. While it is listed as shojo, you could be forgiven for mistaking it as shonen. Mostly the plot remains in the realm of reality, though on about four occasions, it does wander off into what could best be described as fantasy. These odd episodes do not mess up the plot though. Overall it is a heartwarming story that delivers on its promises, leaves you caring about the characters and wishing it went on for more than 14 volumes. Once you start reading it is hard to put down, so I'm glad I bought all 14 volumes at once. Something that just about all reviews tell you that one of the main characters is a boy who crossdresses as a girl. What they fail to mention is that the lead girl is more than just a tomboy - she is also a crossdresser, and that adds to the confusion and the fun.

W Juliet has everything you would like...romance, drama and comedy all blended together in one awesome manga series!! It's funny since Makoto is a male so hiding in a female disguise must be pretty hard...not to mention interesting...haha. But the storyline is really good especially the....um....small(?) adventures the characters go through...it makes the events enjoyable!! I hope that you enjoy it as much as i did ^-^

This was one of the best series I have read. Filled with comedy and romance, and of course there has to be drama which makes it more of an adventure each time something happens. If you want something that makes you giddy and excited then GET THIS SERIES! I would die to have him as MY Juliet :)

This series is so fun! I feel myself rooting for the characters as they find love. The mini advetures they go through as they learn about themselves and try to hide the secret of Makoto being a male. I found this series funny and heart warming. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants to feel good.

for a high school drama, it's fantasic. the story is loosely based off of romeo and juliet (with a name like w juliet who would of guess~) but is still original.

when a drama club prsident finds out that the new transfer student is what she appears to be. ito strives to keep the secret for ito also is more then what meets the eye. and with the main cast being drama club members you can tell theres going to be alot of fun. Ito is a handfull and a half alone, add a big secret big families, and two years of high school, that all equals lots and lots of fun.

it's a cute story, and i enjoy reading it alot. one of my favorate things about this manga is the charater developement.
