For those numerous viewers who enjoyed the mesmerizing DVD of Voices of a Distant Star, comes forth a graphic novel that will take you through the entire story all over again. The original love story that Mikako and Noboru exists just as painfully, but along with it, the story delves deeper, shedding light on Mikako's life as her journey across the stars unfolds. Highly recommended for anyone who's looking to complete their collection of VoDS material, as this is truly a must-have add-on!

Pure Disappointment Jul 29, 2008

I have never seen the anime so I was in for quite a surpise. The synopsis on the back of the manga sounded like it could be quite entertaining, but all I wanted to do while reading it was return it. The story was imaginative, but quite unimpressive. It dragged on and on and, eventually, I just got lost. I had no idea what was going on for the longest time. However, even though I do not like it, if you like scifi and cute love stories, you will enjoy this manga.
