This book was far better than the first in my opinion. I recommend this book to anyone who has the read the first one or just anyone who likes vampires and romance. It's definite must read. You'll fall in love with this book after reading the first one and you'll never want to stop. Which means you have to get the second book. It'll be a book you'll never regret buying!

Vampire Knight is a beautiful shojo manga produced by Matsuri Hino. I've wanted to read it for a while, and was able to when a friend loaned me the first book. I was very excited when I received it, and loved it from beginning to end.

The story's plot revolves around a young girl named Yuki Cross who attends a school academy that caters to both human and vampires. The story doesn't show a lot in the beginning, but the normal flash backs of someones memory, which is later revealed to conflict with their present and the people around them. As the story progresses, the love triangle slowly starts to appear, as our heroine drifts past a childhood friend to her childhood savior. Trouble arises when her childhood friend starts to have a break down and shows his true colors.

Ultimately, Vampire Knight is a wonderful story and has wonderful art that has somewhat of a Gothic sort of feel to it, yet an innocent feel when it turns to the Day class. If you're a fan of vampires, and love triangles, I suggest this for you.

OMG! Im so in love with Vampire Knight! It is deffinitly one of the best stories out there. ^__^

The story is about a girl named Yuki Cross, a young teenage girl who is a guardin at Cross Acadamy. Cross Acadamy is a school with a day class and night class, the only difference between the two being the night class is full of beautiful vampires. Its Yuki and her friend Zeros duty to keep the night class secret and protect the day class students from becoming the vampires next dinner.

This is a great story full of love and adventure. Its a most read!

The art of this manga is really well done! it's impresse me the first time a read it. The story is as good as the art ^^. If you like vampipre story, love triangle and high school life you'll enjoy this serie.

Im not positive on what I think of the story at this point, as it is really only starting up so hard to say how it will go, but it does have promise. The art work in this book is absolutely beautiful, I especially like the clothes and the attention to detail (which reminds me of CLAMPs work). I will definately be buying the second book to see how this series pans out.

One of my other fave series, Vampire Knight has a very specatular and unique sense of art, the eyes are done amazingly well, very beautiful, one of the bests ^^ The story is very interesting too, I guess the only good story is when a dozen guys fight over one girl -.-

Definite 5 Star and recommended to all ^o^

Well in my opinion I think it's pretty frikin awesome!!!! It's kinda sad though cause zeroe turns into somethhing that he hates to be yup a vampire well I'm just saying that you should read these two volumes(hopefully more will be created) and you'll see what I mean. Hope you enjoy!!!! Cause I sure did ^_^

Yuki is saved by a Level E Vampire! She was saved by a man Named Kaname Kuran. Kaname become's to like her later on adn she like's him then a kid named Zero come's in and recks there friend ship. Will Kaname stay friends with Yuki or will they begin to grow apart? Find out in the First Volume Of Vampire Knight. :p

liked vampires ...then twilight came out?Vampire knight brings the Vam back to vampire by introducing to any manga fan just what you've been waiting for in the next generation of vampire.Not to mention sexy vampire bites!^^Grrr This is s must buy it's not just some emotional drama it's more of & epic love triangle.

When I first saw this manga what actually attracted me was the art. Then I picked it up, started reading it and found it was actually pretty good.

Vampire Knight is about a girl named Yuki who is somewhat like a security guard, and her job is to make sure the Night Class (vampires) don't cause too much trouble. The character development isn't that great but it's still a great read.

I think this manga has alot of potential. So I suggest picking it up and reading it!

I have a huge interest in vampires; they are just amazing beings. Vampire Knight takes the story of vampires and makes it alive in its own special way! Always my eyes popped out as something I really wouldn't expect happened in the most amusing series of all. The artistic style of the manga also made me envy the drawings of the characters. The whole novel was drawn perfectly in a very understandable way. For anyone who wants a trully interesting and eye drawing manga, read Vampire Knight. (PS: Zero + Yuki Forever! :D)

Vampire Knight is really cool. I love the artwork...it is really beautiful and perfect. The story draws you in somehow and it's like you are actually one of the characters as you read along. Really amazing. Matsuri Hino never fails to deliver a great story with a dash of romance added for good measure!!

In legends vampires are portrayed as being gorgeous, romantic and highly intelligent. The vampires in here are exactly the same!!! Heh heh :)

I hope that it is just as romantic as MeruPuri and I can't wait to find out.

ok, first of all, i LOVE this series more than ANYTHING in the world of manga/anime. I am the ULTIMATE fangirl...sometimes. ok, so its about a girl, Yuuki (which i hate) who is found by a pureblood vampire named Kaname Kuran (which is the shiz) and is addopted by Headmaster Cross Kaien. Four years later, Zero Kiryu, is brought to cross academy by Kaien, after his family was killed. THUS BEGINS OUR STORY. ok, now since i think EVERYONE should know this, Shiki Senri and Ichijo Takuma give me a MAJOR YAOI vibe, as does Aido, who is SPOILER ALERT! later found to be in love with Kaname SPOILER OVER! so he really...nice. Zero and Kaname, give me the love/hate relationship. i dunno why. Aido and Kain, though cousins are a different story. Its almost asd if their secret lovers and Kains always like aido you're so annyoing sometimes. but you know he loves him. The basic pairings are: Yuuki x Zero Yuuki x Kaname Ruka x Kain Shiki x Rima and for the Yaoi fans... Kain x Aido (only for the dirty minded...) Shiki x Ichijo (shown in volume 4 extra and volume 2) Kaname x Zero (yes, they may hate eachother, but i hate you and i love you are actually closer than you think) and Aido x Kaname (this rolls around in a later chapter SPOILER ALERT! and is plainly said in Shojo Beat Dec. 08 issue) SPOILER OVER!

GO BUY IT NOWWWW!!

Hino delivers a suspenseful vampire romance with memorable characters and deep mysteries. The art is beautiful. The story is entertaining. The slow pace of the plot starts to drag after a few volumes. Beware of more mature themes and scenes in later chapters. Overall, an enjoyable series worth the money.

This Review is From the bottom of my heart. I Read the Books and Was Surprised to See It Did Not Finish at book 4 So I Hope It Continues. So I Watched the Anime. DO NOT WATCH THE ANIME... It Broke My heart Leaving Me at a point between who was who and what intentions did who have? Well some were obviously pointed out, others were left in the air to drift off unkown.

I Do Have to Say Wonderful art and well if anything buy the manga and watch the anime at your own exspence. Beware.

I have to say i love Matsuri Hino's works and i am definitely addicted to this series....Unlike Meru Puri or her previous works, this series is more dark and mysterious. The story is about pure blood vampires and the secrets behind the Kuran's family. One of thing i really love about Vampire Knight is that it's not predictable like most story, plus it involves romance yet not as mushy like other shoujo. The arts are absolutely stunning....I highly recommend VK to anyone out there who haven't read this yet....It's drama, fantasy, actiion, a bit of comedy and love all packed into one...what else could you ask for....Go and buy this series. Trust me, it worth the money...

I wasn't sure about this manga, but i readed a review and i decided to give it a chance.

Story/Plot : the story is well designed, you can see very clear the principal lines from the story in the first volume ( a MUST, DONT read any spoiler or preview from the 2vol.. you will regret it )and some very important events that would be the guideline from the plot happen at the right time in the manga..not too early, not to late. The narration is good, but there are parts that would have been better without so much text 7/10

Art/ Style: Bishounen!!! Yes, a lot of them ^^.the style is like the art from Angel Sanctuary..but more clean. It looks more like a draw made by pencil, with many lines and without closing edges. 8/10

Overal impression: For people who like the fantastic genre and misses Buffy ^^
