Del Rey's Shojo Version Jun 15, 2007

There are a couple of other versions of Train Man, but I really like the Del Rey version. The artwork is cute and the story is charming. It's a one-shot volume, so the investment is small if you're curious about the whole train man phenomenon. It's a cute story, you won't regret it!

The story is kind of unusual the way it's told... Oct 25, 2007

This is an interesting series. I was put off by the covers of the Train Man. Since it was complete, I decided to get the 3 volumes.
It is a cute love story where the guy tries to get the girl he met on the train. He meets this girl then goes home to his computer to talk to his online buddies and asks for advice on how to get her. This whole series is about him and advice-giving buddies and getting the girl.
It's different than most romance stories I've read in a manga because it's one-sided. You read about the guy, what he's thinking, what he wants to do with her, how to get her etc. You don't get to see what the girl is thinking. Just only his side. Real interesting. This could apply to real life. He's nervous and doesn't want to blow it all the time. I liked it alot.
Don't pass this up!
