For a Good and Fun Scare Feb 01, 2008

These works are the original release of Tomie in English. However, Dark Horse has rereleased Tomie (and has done a better job of translation and left the art in an unflopped format) as the Museum of Terror series.
That said Tomie is a great classic horror read. The stories are episodic with some continuation of the characters into different chapters. The plot is simple but good enough to give you a case of creepiness. (I wouldn't say out that it give you a real scare.) The art is excellent for a horror work and is perhaps some of the best around.
Tomie is a Comics One release and Comics One has gone out of business. Therefore, it is rather difficult to get these original volumes (including the following work Tomie 2 and Flesh Colored Horror).
Each book in the series has it's own dust jacket.
Obsessed also recommended: Flesh Colored Horror, Muesum of Terror, Gyo, Uzumaki,
