WOOHOO guys in drag! Jun 03, 2007 reviewed by Pink Cherry
This is one of the best series I have ever read. Why? Oh, that is simple, it's a comedy/romance about a girl who doesn't wanna stand out but can't help it when her school roommate is celebrity and is secretly a guy! And did I mention the older mysterious guy who watches out for them? Total hottie! Then there is the secret student/teacher romance and horrible jealousy. Who puts a razor blade in fan mail? Oh, well. Anyways this title has me addicted I can't wait to read more.

Tenshi Ja Nai Vol. 07 May 25, 2007 reviewed by midori318 (Tenshi Ja Nai Vol. 07)
There's trouble in paradise the moment Hikaru and Izumi finally realize their feelings for one another. Along comes past crushes and crazed fans to send these two love birds over the deep end. And of course Hikaru dives head first into trouble after ignoring Izumi's warning to stay away from Ayase sensei but it's to be expected from clueless Hikaru.

Can You Keep a Secret ;Tenshi Ja Nai! May 22, 2007 reviewed by machina
I love the plot of this series, it peaked my interest quite a bit when I found out about the real identity of Izumi, though I wont spoil that for you; but Im pretty sure its written on the cover of the first volume.
Hikaru has a hard time adjusting at first, to the life of an idols roommate, but she feels forced to do so due to a certain photograph that Izumi-san has in her possession. Though, after some time she comes to find herself enjoying being by her side.
The pressure of being an idols best friend, the secrets they have to keep; the secrets themselves! Its a packed full of intrigue and amusement as they struggle to deal with their every day lives and keep the idols career going on the side.
Its a fantastic mix of romance, drama, and comedy; with a hint of craziness! Anyone who loves a high school romance would indeed enjoy Tenshi Ja Nai.

Tenshi Ja Nai in my opinion Aug 25, 2007 reviewed by Coengar2
An interesting addition to the gender bending Genre. The relationship between the two main characters is a great mix of barely concealed hostility and reluctant affection, it's nice to see a series in this genre that doesn't try to rush it's main characters into a quick happy ever after relationship. It's familiar enough territory to make the reader comfortable and yet different enough to keep them interested. Definately one that's well worth adding to your collection

Another great story about a guy going as a girl... Oct 25, 2007 reviewed by Manga Reader
I just finished this series so it's still fresh in my mind. I liked it alot.
It's about a guy who has to go as a girl to model in order to earn money for his father's hospital bills. The deal with the modeling agency was that he has to dress up as a girl and model but if anyone finds out, his modeling career is over. It is funny at the same time to watch him(her) in funny situations and he(she) has a new roommate and then the roommate finds out she's a guy. They deal with the consequences. This is not a gay story.
The story is kind of unique somewhat in it's own way. There is another series, Here Is Greenwood, where the gal dresses up as a guy to stay in the guys dorm but the story is different.

Great all girls school shojo Jul 25, 2007 reviewed by Rainy
This manga is set in an all girls school and focuses on a shy girl and a idol. I don't really want to give away to much, but I will say that it's a really great shojo and is drawn very well. I can't wait for the last book of the series volume 8.
