The main problem I have with this anime is that there is barely any character development except for Maya. They go into this whole back story about why she and Mitsuomi are fighting and about her older brother; but the other characters rarely get appearance after mid-series.

I like the flashback storyline, but I think it should have been kept for it's own series or for an OVA or movie, rather than taking up the majority of the television series itself; because there is no justification at the ending of the series. It's quite stupid, imo.

I don't recommend it.

The only bad thing of Tenjho Tenge is that the American version is heavily edited, so don´t expect to see any sex scene, don´t even expect to see nipples. To let you comprehend how badly edited this is, they even censored the middle fingersç throwing!!!
