Like the summary says, Fuji is dumped by her boyfriend of 7 years. It was obvious that would happen since the reader gets the full impression that the relationship was loveless. Now alone, Fuji realizes how empty her life was, no socializing outside or even friends. Soon enough, she outreaches for a new life and soon is acquainted with 2 different men at her work: Ishida and Ogiwara. Fuji discovers that she has feelings for both and it's understandable; both men are different with many likable qualities. So one of the plot's of this manga is which man Fuji will choose. Of course, that is not easy, with past loves thrown in and all. One of the great things about this manga is Fuji herself. She is a very strong minded woman with realistic qualities. It's refreshing how dedicated she is to her work and for once is not a guy-obsessed high schooler, like so many manga heroine. And yes, there is a parental advisory warning. And yes, nothing explicit happened in the 1st volume. But that is obviously a warning for future volumes. Besides it being a warning for sexual content, it may be a notice that this manga might appeal more to mature minds, with its portrayal of emotion and love. Another great quality of Suppli is the art. The layout of each page is very creative with the panels displayed like little windows to an overall picture. The people are drawn with a very graceful and expressive look and there are often little decorations of nature in the corners. Overall, I fell in love right away. I couldn't put it down and actually got excited over the romantic parts (which, by the way, is extremely rare for me). Another nice thing is that this series is only 6 vols long, which is nice considering how most series last way too long these days. So, if you are looking for a series staring an adult woman who cares about her job and faces a lot of romantic drama, this is a series for you. I mean, after all, this wasn't popular in Japan for nothing!

Hmm, I just finished reading it. The art work is stunning with some little oddities I did not like too much, but this is overrated being labeled as mature content. There is ONE'ish kiss and even that one is covered up by heads. The subject in Vol.1 also does not give a reason for that and it reminded me a lot of The Devil wears Prada but without Meryl in it. This entire volume just shows you a fast pasting mind of a 27 year old woman who is busy with her work and in her head. It is nothing but a conflict of her own and the little things she runs in to. I do not know if I would recommend it to a guy though and I am not even sure that too many women would love it very much!? Sorry, but I was not really happy about it. The Synopsis of the manga tells that Minami Fujii is dumped by her boyfriend of seven years and realizes that the world--including her fast-paced job in advertising--is a lot more wonderful and full of love than she ever realized. , but the last half of the sentence is obsolete in my opinion because there is nothing really wonderful happening. There is no BANG or something, just the hint that eventually there might be something in Vol. 2 but even that is not certain. Regarding the beginning of the story I found it really hard to follow what was going on. I knew it was about a 'freshly' dumped woman but I could not really tell by the plot until later on when she said something. I actually assumed that she wanted to dump him instead and then bam she was single. No idea how that happened but oh well. Anyway, there was some other oddities in the plot that I wont mention to not spoil the little entertainment there is left.
