Cute girls doing cute things! Jun 15, 2007

Yes this is a very cute series, but it's not just sugar and spice. This series also has a lot of humor! The artwork in the first volume is a little rough, but the manga-ka's artwork really progresses as the story goes along. It's a fun lighthearted series. Very appropriate summer reading ^_^

A totally hilarious series Mar 25, 2008

I highly recommed this series to anyone with a quirky sense of humour. I don't think I've laughed this hard with every turn of the page. Many compare it to the anime but honestly, to me, they are two different entities in many respects. The anime series and subsequent OVAs draw things out a bit more and shows more of the slice of life side of the girls' interactions. The manga has shorter side stories within the 5 volumes and sometimes one has to backtrack to catch the meanings. But Chika, Nobue, Ana, Matsuri and Miu are like the Five Stooges. When they're all together, weirdness ensues.
