Sexy and intense. The main character draws you in deep and his little bird is very cute. The side characters aren't half bad, either.

Not so good from volume 6 Sep 27, 2007
reviewed by SarahLawrence4faces
When I started to read sensual phrase, I was hooked up. The first few volumes were sexy and cute and the characters were cool enough. However, from volume 4 or 5 the story starts to live from small happenings and Aye's insecurity. I would recommend it, though. Since it's easy to read and since the main male character's background is quite interesting.

sentual phrase goodness Jul 10, 2007

i really love this manga. it's a bit more smutt then i'd normally like, but the pretty men, and the good story line make up for it all the way.
cute girl dragged into being a song writer for a sexy 'hot' band. falls in love, and have to deal with being 'involved' with the band's lead singer, and other things with them being famous. that's fun angsty, and keeps you reading and reading for more till your done. (btw what all was said was from manga one of 18!)
as said before there is smutt, and alot of it (surprised it took till book 6 to put explisit content on the cover) but a good thing about putting it in manga format is that it's easy to pass up if you don't care for those types of things. i'm really not into stuff like this, and i'm o.k with it as for art style, i like it, but the men are a bit too lanky for me. yes we all (or at least i do ^_^) like talk lanky guys, but that's just my opinion, and in all honesty, that's no big deal at all.
i know theres an anime to this as well, and i'd like to see it just because of the fact that i want to see all the anime of the manga i read just for comparison sake.
i belive i hear that a big singer is the one that sings for sakuya, so i would love to watch for the music as well.
thats just one thing you can't get form the manga.

Romance and high passion on static seas Jun 09, 2007
reviewed by Nytingale
If you like your series' to have a touch of risque passion, then this is the series for you. It is by no means perfect as the author doesn't quite grasp the concept of interweaving story arcs and instead just puts in a new one after the last one ends with no real overlap or growing mystery. This causes the series to get a little stagnant in parts. However what the author lacks in building story arcs they are superb with cliff hangers as almost every books seems to end on one, causing that burning need to know what will happen next even though the end is already a forgone conclusion. Despite it's flaws this series is definitely fun and worth reading.
