Like many labyrinth fans out there, this series became a must have for me. Thus being said, I won't lie: Return to the Labyrinth book one was a disappointment. The story was certainly not what I wanted: I wanted a story based again around Sarah and Jareth, and the art was not what I expected: certainly nothing akin to Chobits, or even the Kingdom Hearts series.

However, book two was an even better surprise. Over the initial shock of the plot and more used to the art, and I able to really enjoy this second installment which seems to have learned its mistakes from the first. The fan art section is just lovely and the ending, although a cliff-hanger, is wonderful.

I would certainly recommend the series for labyrinth fans and tell them to have hope, it does get better.
