Reborn Synopsis: Tsunayoshi Sawada (Tsuna for short) is a cowardly junior high student who doesn't excel at academics or sports. He only attends school so he can stare at his beautiful classmate Kyoko from afar.
But Tsuna's life takes a dramatic turn when Reborn, a suit-wearing, gun-toting baby who claims to be an Italian hit man, shows up at his house. Reborn was sent to Japan to groom Tsuna for his future life as a big Mafia boss.
Tsuna doesn't believe this absurd story, so Reborn shoots Tsuna in the head with his gun. As Tsuna faces his own death, he's filled with regret that he never confessed his feelings to Kyoko...and suddenly he's overcome with supernatural powers that allow him to run off screaming to tell Kyoko how much he loves her. After five minutes, Tsuna goes back to normal.
Reborn explains how his gun works: when he shoots a person in the head, if that person has regrets about her life, then she will die and be reborn, temporarily endowed with special powers that enable her to fix or solve whatever is the source of her regret. (If Reborn shoots someone who is free of regret, she would die.)
Tsuna becomes Reborn's disciple, and because Reborn shoots Tsuna in the head all the time, he is constantly being reborn and growing into a stronger and better person, gradually impressing those around him and making friends.

A great series for comedy and action lovers!!! Aug 28, 2007 reviewed by Ricardo Peña
The first volumes focus on comedy of the daily life situations of Tsuna and in presenting new characters, but the real action begins on the future volumes, the fights are pretty good and the art is very nice and it gets even better with the past of the volumes.
Something you will find in this manga is that there is a LOT of interaction between characters... Sometimes things you couldn´t even imagine to happen DO happen... And those situations more often than not will make Tsuna do crazy things. And finally, there are a lot of characters in this manga,so I am sure you will find one (Or MANY) characters you will like. from the good-for-nothing Tsuna to the pervert Dr. Shamal, there will always be a character you like in this manga.
If you like comedy-action manga, this is for you.
Ricardo Peña also recommended: Dr. Slump, Ultimate Muscle, Gintama.,

Cute characters + Excellent storyline Jun 24, 2007 reviewed by adokenaiusagi
This series is one that I would definitely recommend. It is chock full of comedy, which is definitely something that I look for in a new series. One of the main characters is quite adorable, which is a plus for some girls I know. Although the storylines may be a bit rushed and outrageous at times, it only adds to the fun of reading Reborn! I don't think I have ever read a manga series quite as interesting and unique as Reborn!

A wonderful series Jun 30, 2008 reviewed by Mokenda
Reborn easily ranks as one of the best series I've come to enjoy. The series begins somewhat 'spazzy' as all of the main characters are introduced, which is extremely amusing to read. However, later on is when the action and adventure aspect is introduced as they begin actual mafia tasks and adventures, keeping the comedy aspect the whole way. The series keeps you hooked the whole way and waiting for more each time.
Mokenda also recommended: One Piece, Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Rave Master, Fairy Tail,

Fun manga! I find it too fast from what I'm used to but other than that it's a good manga so far.

Hilarous, Amazing and a Must Buy Sep 13, 2007 reviewed by Sam. B
It was hard not to fall in love with Katekyo Hitman Reborn. The premise itself is interesting, not to mention funny: No-Good Tsuna, not gifted at anything--let alone a sense of balance--is the heir apparent as the mafia family Vongola's tenth leader. Mix a a good plot line with a nice mix of suspense, then throw in a lot of humor, and you have KHR. The daily life plot has been said to be a bit slow for some, but it's well worth the reading (and I think it's still really funny), and the plot definitely picks up quickly around the Kokuyō gang arc and after. I recommend this to everyone, especially Jump lovers!
