Villains should be good looking and heroes should be ugly. What would happen?! Aug 17, 2010

Ignore my title, that isn't what this manga is about! Ahem.
This story follows a young man name Shuto who dreams of being a hero like his role model Shining Man. However, his negative quality, at least in his mind and the people that makes fun of him, is that he's short. Curious on what happens next? Read the manga!
Ratman takes an intriguing approach on the world of superheroes and villains. In this manga's world, heroes can come from anyone, and there already is a good amount in the world. All you need to do is get a license to be a hero and you are one. However, getting a license isn't that easy, and there are even ranks among the heroes to classify the weak from the strong. There's some slight food-for-thought dialogues that Ratman gives out which is quite fun to ponder about.
While this manga can be on the verge of falling into one of the more serious plot categories with cool action scenes, it's also simply hilarious with a lot of fun and charm! The characters are cute enough that you just want to root for them. Although at this point it doesn't seem like there's much room for character backgrounds, it does have plenty of room for character development.
This manga should definitely be worth getting. I seriously hope they don't discontinue this. 5/5 because it invokes the I WANT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! scream.
