My all time favorite anime Sep 19, 2008
reviewed by ChloeBlack101
After watching Princess Tutu, this replaced Fruits Basket as my all time favorite anime. I was instantly captivated within the first disc, and had to go out and by the complete set. Even the packaging for the DVD sets is done wonderfully.
Princess Tutu combines anime and ballet beautifully. The dancing is stunning to watch. And the storyline is NEVER uninteresting. You will be drawn in by the characters' lives and emotions. I would recommend this anime to anyone; it really does NOT get the attention it deserves. The voice cast is wonderful as well. Overall, just an amazing anime, that I would recommend anyone watch, even if you don't have a taste for ballet.

Splendidly unique and fresh. Jul 14, 2007

The packaging is beautiful. It reminds me of Pretear's wrapping. The sound is clear and easily understood. The dub is nicely done by the stunning voice of Luci Christan leading the way. One of the best I've seen. Overall, I'm captured the story. I was expecting something completely bubbly and happy, but it surprises you. It's splendidly unqiue, something I haven't seen in the anime field. The side characters are easy to relate to and feel sympathetic towards. Mixing ballet with anime seems to be successful.
