Pretear Synopsis: Dealing with the issues of parents remarrying is tough on any teen, but it's even tougher on young Himeno Awayuki, who's perceived as an outcast by both her new stepsisters as well as her classmates who resent her father remarrying into a rich family.
But Himeno is about to find out that her social status is the least of her troubles, as she discovers her destiny as the "Pretear," a girl who has the power to merge with and control the nature and elemental-oriented powers of the Leafe Knights! The Knights are dedicated to protecting the energy of Leafe from an evil being called the Disaster Queen, but it may take the commitment of a hesitant Himeno, as the Pretear, to help destroy the evil Queen and her monster worms.

Absolotely fantastic series! it has the classic magical girl theme but also the classic fairy tale of snow white! it really captivates you all the way through! its such a shame that its so short though! but that doesn't make it any less great! if your looking for a short series with alot of heart this is the one !

This show is absolutely amazing. It's made by the same people as Sailor Moon so it has some similar elements, but has an original story line. It's only thirteen episodes long so there are no long filler episodes but it's not too short. It's about a girl who finds out she has special powers that only she can use to save the earth. Mix that in with a group of male warriors who want to protect her, two evil stepsisters and a new family and it's one fun anime!

I found this anime to be quite interesting. I watched the first episode with a friend, then bought the series for myself. I didn't rate it 5 stars because it's not the BEST anime I've ever seen. But it's definitely worthy of high ratings.
There's a lot of cuteness to be had, as well as much sadness. The twists in Pretear were quite good, I thought. Some I were happy with, some I hated. But all in all it is a great series, with a lot of beautiful imagery and loveable characters.

This series was amazing. It is similar to the anime, it has the same basic theme and such, but there are enough differences between the anime and the manga that you will enjoy both without it feeling like a repeat. Some actions, decisions, and characters made a lot more sense when reading the manga, compared to some things in the anime. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy, and adventure.

I liked Pretear pretty decently. The story was average to me and almost didn't give me enough will to read the rest of the series. But overall its a fairly decent read. BUT there are better mangas out there in this category. Pick up Pretear if your looking some off and on reading.
