So this wasn't created by an Asian writer/creator. I don't happen to mind at all, and I'm Asian myself! This book is full of charm, please don't overlook it simply because it isn't manga enough! Frankly, there will always be someone out there deriding how Western created manga isn't technically manga at all. Who knows, maybe that is a valid point and some new category has to be created...but the book is a fun read and left me wanting more. I applaud the author/artist for trying and creating something wholly original, and not just full of derivative cliches. This belongs on a list of other non-Japanese and non-Korean gems like Scott Pilgrim and Random Encounter.

i did not like this comic at all. i don't even call it manga. the art work is awful the store line is not that great. not to be racist it was written by a non-asian guy. i like the korean and japanese writers better. that's what true manga and manwha are. i would not buy the rest of the my dead girlfriend volumes. this book was a joke and bad. don't buy it.
