Super Smut May 30, 2007 reviewed by Tuttle
I open it to be instantly assaulted by invisible dangly parts and body fluids. Its a great Yaoi though, rather hard core. I wouldnt reccoment it to newbies.

SMUT...YAOI SMUT... Jun 08, 2007 reviewed by AnimeG0ddess
I really give it about 2 1/2 stars, because I believe this series has it's moments, but most people will find it tasteless. Level C really has no plot. Every single volume is just an excuse for the 2 main characters, Kazuomi and Mizuki (2 male lovers), to have sex. I happen to enjoy random acts of smut, so it doesn't bother me. But really, there is no character development, no plot, all the stories are just random little acts to give them a reason to have sex. Sex usually ensues because of a) jealousy, b) long times apart, or c) just because they're horny. Oh, and the inappropriate parts of the males are CENSORED. Yes, they are not drawn, they are blank white spots. The censorship does get better as volumes progress, as in you can actually make out what it's suppose to be, but the first volume was really bad. The art style isn't gorgeous. By no means is it ugly, it's just a really simple drawing style. Overall, unless you really like boy smut, not really worth it.

Instant Love; Level C May 25, 2007 reviewed by machina
Level C has a rather odd storyline from what I've seen so far. Mizuki, a young college student has been working as a model for his older brother and is suddenly approached on the street by an older fellow by the name of Kazo, who has just been dumped; again. Kazo promises Mizuki a night of passion he will never forget in exchange for crashing at his place; to which Mizuki agrees.
Romance and several sexual encounters follow the two males, and throw in a nosy twin sister and you've got yourself a hint of comedy. Though the series is more of a romantic and sexual adventure than anything else; I have one majour issue with it... INVISIBLE GENITALS!!
I hate that.. ;_;

Level C Jan 05, 2008 reviewed by Sunder
This was one of the first anime/manga yaoi series I picked up and after being able to browse around a bit, I have to say, it could have been better.
The Manga: The characters are not all that well developed but the art is rather well done in a very crisp design. If you are after explicit art I would suggest it but if you are after quality story I would say pass on this one. It provides an occasional enjoyable read just for fun.
The Anime: I would say you might enjoy it more if you had read the manga first, just because there is really no cohesive story to it. The moment you have anything leading towards plot it runs right back to sex. It is an amusing watch if only to enjoy the voice actors chosen for the characters. (I had seen the anime first and was really disappointed but after getting to read a little bit of the plot in the manga I enjoyed it more.)
Sunder also recommended: Target the Finder, Embracing Love, J-Boy, Brother, Wild Rock,
