Kitchen Princess Review- by Shima-Kun Feb 18, 2008 reviewed by Shimatari
Kitchen Princess is a very cute book that makes you want to help Najika (the main charicter) in her strugles. The artwork is good, and there are many diffrent and creative ideas for food in the manga. (not to mention recipies in the back for the food Najika cooks)There are two really cute bishis too! ^^ If you choose to buy this book I hope you enjoy it!

Cute but kind of cliche... Jun 26, 2007 reviewed by AnimeG0ddess
The great thing about this series is that it includes recipes of all the things the main character makes at the end of each volume. This series is cute, but cliche. The main character, Najika, has Cinderella syndrome in which she suffers the loss of parents, gets bullied by others, and has her heart set at ease by a prince-like character (well, 2 prince-like characters with opposing personalities actually). She's a little bit ditzy, but has a good heart and wins others hearts through her cooking. The plot and character development are kind of shallow. There are better shoujo series out there with the same predicament but better story-telling.

Kitchen Princess vol 2 Aug 17, 2010 reviewed by AnimeAnimeAddict (Kitchen Princess Vol. 02)
Things arn't going too well when Najika finds out that Akane really wants her to leave the academy instead of being her friend.Najika plans to leave Sieka Academy because she feels that she cant do anything, but 2 brothers (Sora and Daichi)stops her from leaving, saying that she does have a gift-an absolute sense of taste. what else would make this manga exciting is a cooking contest between Najika and an award-wining chef.Read vol 2 to see what happens!

Yakitate Japan meets Fullmoon wo Sagashite? Oct 09, 2007 reviewed by tenohikari (Kitchen Princess Vol. 01)
Yakitate Japan meets Fullmoon wo Sagashite? Not your normal romantic comedy - the story is original and although the main character seems kind of ditzy at first, I like her passion for cooking and how she can make almost anything with almost nothing. The recipes in the back were also kind of cool, eventhough I haven't tried making them.

searching for love Jul 30, 2007 reviewed by moleungsum (Kitchen Princess Vol. 01)
This is a cute story about a girl in search of a guy who gave her treat to make her feel better. The only clue she has is a silver spoon. It's a cinderella style story with self discovery.

Kitchen Love Jun 24, 2007 reviewed by Komet
This manga follows Najika as she searches for the one who touched her heart as a child. The school she goes to 'Seika Academy' is full of stuck up girls that bully Najika. The story is really intresting as each chapter is a food you can make afterward. I love the drawing style and it has a lot of suspence. Kitchen Princess is a great read!
