Kingdom Hearts Hero! Feb 13, 2009 reviewed by aklishak
Sora the keyblade wielding master... Protector of the Kingdom, connector of memories, and good hearted friend... A magnificent replica of the games protagonist. Add some heartless and it would be perfect.

Lovely Sep 11, 2007 reviewed by demonic_kitten (Kingdom Hearts: Formation Arts Vol. 2 Figure Kairi)
This is possibly one of the most beautiful figurines I have ever invested my money in. I wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend so much money on one figurine, but I finally just did it and not once have I thought of it as a waste of money. It's not a tiny figurine, but it's not huge either. I think it's a great size to fit on the corner of a bookshelf or television stand. Some of the plastic pieces are soft, but they arent's easily broken or been bent out of shape. Not only is it durable, but the colors and structure are gorgeous. Definitely a must have.

Kingdom Hearts - I Wonder What Would Happen if Disney and Square-Enix Had A Baby...? Aug 13, 2007 reviewed by SnarkyKatya
Based on the video game, it's obvious were cuts where made (for length reasons), but the expressions are priceless and the characters top notch. It's a series that keeps getting better and better, no matter what the negative hype may be. You won't regret this purchase.

Kingdom Hearts -- Well paced, well transferred. Aug 17, 2010 reviewed by Lauren Bedford (Kingdom Hearts Vol. 01)
I am a very big fan of the game, and seeing this on the wal-mart shelf made me very happy! It has everything in the story (cut down to size of course) plus some awesome comic faces. :)
This four book series evenly spaces out the travel between worlds, character relationships/developments and utilizes the artwork according to fit the mood. The atmosphere is good enough that the manga COULD be read INSTEAD of the game--but I'd suggest both!

Kingdom Hearts 2 -- Too slow for comfort? Aug 17, 2010 reviewed by Lauren Bedford (Kingdom Hearts II Vol. 01)
I felt that compared to the first manga series and Chain of Memories series that Kingdom Hearts 2 (manga) moved far too slow. There seemed to be a lot of filler and pointless funny-moments. If not compared though, it moves comfortably. I suppose it depends on where you pick up on the Kingdom Hearts manga series. At any rate, the manga are a good alternative to the games. They try not to leave anything too important out and put it in a good order to where it makes sense.

Chain of Memories - Vol. 1 Aug 17, 2010 reviewed by Lauren Bedford (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Vol. 01)
As in the game, we follow Sora to Castle Oblivion. Though it keeps to the game-story nicely, there is more comedy between the Organization XIII than I would like to see. It almost makes me take them less seriously when I see how humorous they are being--but for entertainment purposes, I understand.
Characters are spot on and always, the faces are classic! Picking this up would save you the trouble of struggling through hours of game play without losing the complete experience.

Kingdom Hearts Novels; Just As Good As Game Jan 19, 2009 reviewed by Miranda (Kingdom Hearts Vol. 01 - 04 Complete Manga Set)
I love the Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 video games and never have I thought they could make a manga for the amazing series. Since I keep forgetting about what the series has been up to or what events could lead to the main story ending, I usually have to go and play the video game all over again, but with the novels I can just look back to the latest event and get as much updated on the series' story as the video game. The novels add in funny gestures and the cute chibi drawings fit in perfectly for the characters. Buying the whole set is perfect for anyone wanting a good use of time and a good reading of the famous Kingdom Hearts series!

Am I missing the point??? Aug 04, 2008 reviewed by otherunicorn
I tried reading the manga series for this. All I learned was a) it was based on a game (-1 point) b) was a smash hit. (I wonder what it was thrown at.) c) that it is a Disney attempt at getting into manga by drawing a couple of manga style characters and using them as cement to stick together summaries of their mainstream characters. d) was SO boring that it's taken me months to remember the name of it so I could write this review. Unless you already like it, steer well clear!
