To pretty much sum up Initial D. It is the fantasy world of all Street Racers, All Drifters to be specific. If your really looking for a strong story or something. Look some where else. This is all about Cars, Drift Techniques, And driving. Its fantasy blended into reality. They have some minor stories in it along the way but it is pretty much just about being the best. If you enjoy Cars, Drifitng or anything...This is a definite read or watch. More so Watch...The music is unmatched. It is a great blend of Techno, Pop, Rock, And more. If your just looking for some fun with cars. Here you go

I picked up this manga when I heard that it was about street racing, but when I first read it, it surprised me. The characters where in depth and likeable. This is also where I first heard about drift racing, and It got me hooked. Plus the storyline is incredible and finds a way to keep going and keeps giving Tak new, and interesting obsticles. I highly recommend.

The Initial D series is a good way to learn drifting techniques if you like racing. It is also a very good anime series.
