At first glance, this series may seem like a hentai, or at least a series heavy into fanservice. One needn't even look at the cover to draw such a conclusion - the title is enough. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Sure, there are the occasional glimpses of what's under pants/skirts...but was you see (all censored, of course) is quite the opposite of arousing.

This title revels in this un-ashamed realism. Instead of sexy shower/baths scenes and steamy shoujo-ai relationships, we get discussions on shaving body hair and menstrual cycles. It is the antithesis of all those other anime and mangas that take place in all-girls schools. I won't pretend I know anything about what really goes on in such places, but the author claims to have gone to just such a school, and uses experiences there as fodder for the manga, so I'm going to trust it's more accurate than most.

If you can get past all that stuff, though, it is a pretty good high-school comedy. It follows a small (though increasingly larger in later volumes) group of girls in their hijinks - mostly involving trying to get a boyfriend. But, as they are in an all-girls school, they don't have much, if any, experience with boys, so they have no clue as to how to go about it, and this particular group is rather too stupid to figure it out on their own. And, as with all stupid groups in manga, their mishaps are hillarious. Sure, there is also stuff about tests, and trips, and what-not, but mostly it's about the boys - just as a similar manga about a group of guys would be about the girls, so don't misunderstand me.
