And the Hilarity ensues Dec 27, 2007

I have read Girl Got Game and enjoyed it a lot. So I immediately got into Heaven once it came out. So far, I have only read Volume 1, but it is certainly enjoying, and potentially as amusing as Girl Got Game.
Art: 9/10. The arts are pleasing to the eyes. Not too much shadings, toning, and not too much shoujo bubbles either. The characters are dynamic and I guarantee that none of them look the same.
Plot: 8/10. So far so good. What I like about the mangaka is that she gets to the point. The pace of the story is good, not too rushed and not too slow. The plot is certainly original and very creative.
Characters: 10/10. Very lovely character designs. They all are quirky and hilarious in their own special ways.
If you love comedy, this is the manga for you. It is a romance, but most of the time, it is a comedy. If you hope for a sweet, lovey-dovey romance, then this is obviously not the manga for you. The author focuses more on the comedy, but never strays from the romance and her plot. It is a cute and enjoyable manga. It is a good laugh times to times, and a very unpredictable series from an unpredictable author.

A Comedy in Heaven!! Mar 14, 2008
reviewed by Kaiza
A wonderful series I found comical in ways unimaginable. A story of a teenage girl who is a Medium and slaps spirits to heaven. A punk teenager who picks any fights he can and threatens anyone who comes near. Then, add in a God who came to heaven only for the pleasure of the female population. Mix them together and you get one heck of a story with love, comedy, and a pink stuffed monkey. You can't miss this story and the adventure that comes along with it!
