Great basketball series. The characters are lovable and goals are realistic. The sequal Rebound is also good. If you read this, you must read that.

Great basketball manga Jun 30, 2008

In the US, there is a lack of translated sports manga, however, I am glad that this was one of the series picked up by publishers. The story is interesting and engaging, and the characters are great. It is a lot of basketball fun, though the editing was a bit shaky, and the Americanization of some of the characters' names was a bit lame, all in all, it was a great read. There is plenty of re-read value, so you don't have to worry about this series becoming too stale.
