Good for a laugh, but doesn't really stand out May 21, 2008

It's been awhile since I've seen this anime, and to be honest... I don't remember a whole lot about it. And usually I remember quite a bit about my favorite animes, so that's telling me something. As funny and often heart-warming as Happy Lesson was... it doesn't really stand out when compared to other things that I've watched.
Happy Lesson had a lot of potential, and though I don't think it was necessarily wasted, it's not quite as good as I would have expected. The constant drama and hilarious, though often painful situations Chitose is put through in every episode are quite amusing. You will get many a laugh out of this series. There's also some heart-warming scenes that make it all worth-while. I just wouldn't necessarily recommend this over something else. It doesn't really stick in your mind quite as well as it probably should. Cute, but not amazing.

Meet the Family Oct 30, 2007

This cute series starts off with a bang. A high school student comes home and is told that his five teachers are going to be his new mothers. This starts the adventure of chaos and insanity. What more could he deal with besides a the high school president who makes his life more complicated or a crazed scientist who builds robots in an attempt to take over the world?
The music is fun and catchy. The artwork is shiny, bold, and colorful. The quality is top-notch. Each character has their own personality and heartwarming scenes. This allows the audience to fully understand the characters.
Overall, it's a bit generic and doesn't stand out among the crowd, but if you're looking for a quick series that will leave you laughing, then this is something that will capture your interest for the moment.
