Funny, Enjoyable (Yet Short) Series May 29, 2007
reviewed by Sam. B
I love the caracters in this series. You Higuri is fantastic at coming up with interesting and complex characters, and this book is no different. There is an air of history in this series, set in late 1800's France. The plot is all about famous theif Noir (aka Ray Balzar) and Florian, his companion--because of his family's debt. GC has very shonen-ai undertones, and it's quite a cute, funny, though also mysterious and intreguing find! Read, please!

Amazing Series Aug 21, 2008

I can't explain how much I enjoyed this series and how sad I am that it's over. Both Noir and Florian are compelling characters who I've become extremely attached to. Gorgeous Carat has a perfect mix of history, action romance and pure beauty. I'd give it six stars if I could.
