(Gakuen Heaven Vol. 01)

I'm almost positive that there's only one volume to the manga for this, which is really, REALLY depressing. The characters are so cute. At time's it seems a bit unrealistic because there's NO girls to be found...but this is a shounen-ai series, so it's not all that shocking...just a bit strange. Anyway, the story is really cute, and there aren't all that many antagonists in the series except for one [i won't say who for the sake of the story]. Overall it has a lighter feel to it, and it really is a good read. There aren't that many love scenes, but the ones that are in it are pretty good, once again pretty light. The ending isn't one that'll disappoint you that's for sure. If you've seen the anime it meshes well with the anime more or less...i don't know anything about the game unfortunately...but overall it's a good shounen-ai series, the good side to it being short is it won't put a dent in your wallet.To put it simply, give it a shot =]

If you like any of You Higuri's work, you will love this book, even though the manga-ka was not the writer for this particular story. The book is based upon an extremely popular dating sim in Japan of the same name. This is a BL (boy's love) coming-of-age story that has a few hot surprises in store. Also has a extra short feature at the end of the book.
