A spark of hope ignites to a blaze in twelve-year-old Mitsuki Koyama's life when a comical pair of magical beings appears to prove to her that dreams really do come true. Young Mitsuki loves singing and dreams of becoming a pop star. Unfortunately, a malignant tumor in her throat prevents her from pursuing her passion. A must read for all shojo fans Feb 18, 2008 reviewed by Lina
First of all if you are a fan of Arina's you already know you'll love this series. It is a heart touching series, giving hope. I have never felt so many different emotions while reading than I did with this series. It made me laugh and cry. The beautiful artwork its self is something to fall in love with. The story show the pure joy music and hope can bring. It's a wonderful story, with magical transformation. Also the next time you think you're life sucks take a look at Mituski, a girl with a tumor in her throat, with the dream of becoming a singer, only she has a hard time speaking and may lose her voice forever. Follow Mitsuki on her amazing journey of following her dream to become a singer and to find the boy she loves. I wonderful heart filled story, with drama, romance, and comedy. A one of a kind story that is a muct read.

The best Aug 04, 2008 reviewed by Lutten
If you're a fan of Arina Tanemura's work, this is probably one of her best pieces. For the protagonist, Koyama Mitsuki.. you just gotta love her. She is SO cute, and have a very pretty voice. As already said, this is one of those mixing-emotions series. Sometimes you just can't stop laughing, and other times you just can't stop tears from falling. The anime is as if it's more made for children, but the manga.. it's so awesome.

I love, love, LOVE this anime May 21, 2008 reviewed by ChloeBlack101
Full Moon has got to be one of the best animes I have seen to date. It literally had like everything I could ever want in an anime all rolled into one. Amazing music. Amazing storylines and plots. It inspires pretty much every emotion possible. There's as much happiness, comedy, and romance as there is sadness and tragedy. I loved the music, and I just love Mitski and Takuto. It's truly a wonderful, inspiring anime.
My only complaint is that, as of yet, Viz has only released the first 28 episodes in English, leaving the last volume (volume 7) as a total cliffy. Volume 7 was released back in December and I haven't heard anything about them releasing the other volumes later (there are actually 52 episodes in all). So it's disappointing that Viz seems to be taking their time. I had to find the original Japanese to finish the story, but believe me, it's worth it. I really and truly hope they finish releasing the DVDs for Full Moon because it's so wonderfully awesome and worth it. This is definitely one of my Top 5 animes. If you're not looking for a fighter anime, this is a must see.
