Eyeshield Synopsis: What does a wimpy kid who's been bullied all his life have to depend on but his own two feet? Sena Kobayakawa is about to start his first year in high school and he's vowed not to get picked on anymore. Unfortunately, the sadistic captain of the football team already has his eye on Sena and his lightning-fast speed.
With a wacky cast of characters that includes team captain Hiruma, who has an uncanny resemblance to a demon, and a good-natured front lineman who inexplicably has a head shaped like a chestnut, enjoy all the bone-crushing action and slapstick comedy that manga has to offer. And who knows, maybe you'll get a bit of a heartwarming coming-of-age story thrown in to boot!

I'm not into sports at all... actually I hate them... but I have become very fond of sports manga lately. Eyesheild 21 has become one of my favorites, it's fun, good paced, and has a lot of great characters. It's just great manga... even if it's about sports...

Totally made of win. It will make you laugh out loud no matter where you are. Quite embarassing. A fun read with great games. It can make the most hardcore sports hating girl love football.

My Name is Sena Kobayashi...And well...I hope never to do anyone's chores again now that I am in High School. But who would have guessed, Him being a golfer for bullies would have turned him into the Ace Runningback of Notre Dame....EYESHIELD 21, The man Who Enter the World Speed of light. Sena Joins the Demion Football team along with The Devil Commander from Hell...Himura. The unstoppable Lineman Kurita. And his childhood friend Minamori. Together will the Demions fall or rise against thier oppenants include the quick draw Kid, The Knight of Oujou Shin-Shan, and others.
Eyeshield 21 is the best of Shonen Jump series. It has that humor that stays constant through out the entire thing. It does not take itself too seriously which many try to do. Its a fantastic ride and unlike many others. It is not as predictable as them. I would highly recommend it to all fans

Great shonen sports series. Its more comedy than anything though. Everyone is absolutely insane and the games are legend. A must read.

Eyeshield 21 is a great series. It leaves you wanting more, starting out with a bunch of nobodies the series grows on you. You can see the details in characters and their development through out the series. Its a series with laughs and with emotions. You'll find yourself laughing outloud as you read it. Great reading i would recomend it to anyone.
