DearS is a funny Amazing Anime/Manga with very solid characters
Jan 26, 2008 reviewed by Slash ///
DearS is all about a race of Alien Slaves, when one of the DearS space ships crashland on earth, The humans and DearS make a peace conference for DearS to become part of the Community, DearS Slaves are created to serve their masters every needs no matter what they are.
the main Story revolves around Takeya Ikuhara, a lazy bad attitude toned school student who takes life on the slow lane, his Landlord's daughter and best Friend Neneko Izumi keeps him in line and wakes him up early every morning making sure he gets ready for school, Takeya doesn't think much of the DearS although all his friends obsess over them, especially his perverted over obsessive friend Hikoro Oikawa, but for Takeya its a normal Monday boring school day when further away on Highway 104, a delivery Truck collides with the guardrail and its contents falls over into the river, A Zero Number, a defect like a broken useless unqualified DearS, comes out of Cryostat sis and wanders the streets
home time calls as Takeya is walking back home he sees what looks to be a cold homeless person with a blanket covering them, he goes to investigate and Realises its a naked woman, she follows him for some time untill Takeya becomes restless and tells her to get lost, as she dazely walks off in the path of a large 16 wheeler truck Takeya dives risking his own life to Save the poor defenseless girl, she then transforms into her true DearS form and says in some sort of Alien Language
the bond between us is established, from this moment on... until the end of time... i am your... and seals a kiss with him.
its a very beautiful series with fantastic art and characters,it has a strong emotional storyline with lots of funny perverted humor, this i would recommended for teens as it has scenes of a sexual nature in it.
