Crossroad? It's worth checking it out! May 22, 2007
reviewed by Bagleman (Crossroad Vol. 01)
While the artwork in Crossroad is in your typical asian manga style, the story is certainly unique. Never before have I come across a plot that revolves around an underage abandoned motherly gold-digger, orphans, a love story between step-brother and step-sister (although not related by blood), and teenage delinquents striving to create a happy home for themselves!
Defunct social mores aside, this manga is definitely worth checking out. A solid and unique addition to the shojo manga market and one that is thoroughly enjoyable.

Drew Me In but Let Me Down Jun 09, 2009

When I started this series, I thought the premise and the main character's inherent tenacity (and slightly violent nature) sounded promising. Some of the side characters introduced later on had me very intrigued, and there were a lot of ways this story could go.
However, about halfway through, the comedy all but died out, leaving a dramatic, depressing, romantically twisted shell. Then again, if any of those adjectives appeal to you, this might be the perfect story for you. n.n
Content warnings (you know, in case you're interested): language, sexual innuendo, mature situations, and perverted sensei.

Overall - nice artwork, unique characters and storyline... but, a little too melodramatic. Still, a good read. And despite there being a little too much drama, I still enjoyed it due to the character personalities.
