It's just laking one itsy bitsy thing, the plot. Really, it's just composed of little stories and it's really confusing at that. There's not a lot of explanation for most of what happens. It's a high school full of this one smart student and the rest are dumb street fighters. There's no girls in this school and there's a gorilla and a body trainer guy.

This is my favorite manga hands down... right next to Blade of the Immortal, Hellsing and MPD Psycho. A highschool of bad asses, where you don't actually see any bad ass things happening... they only talk about how big of bad asses they are, or get into in-depth conversations on their own reality (that of being bad asses in a bad ass school and their role in the grand scheme of things) and the meaning of it all (Who or what is Freddie? Mecha-zawa... bad ass or machine? What's the name of Hokuto's henchman and why doesn't anyone care? etc.). I really love Nonaka's writing, and his constant references to puroresu and 70's mega-super-duper-star rock'n'roll bands like Queen and Kiss makes me happy. I couldn't really give a crap if anyone else on this whole planet doesn't think this type of humor is funny, I think its the funniest comedy manga of all time. Quintessential toilet reading.
