Spell Binding Crimson Spell Jun 24, 2008
reviewed by Magickat (Crimson Spell Vol. 01)
Once you pick up Crimson Spell, you may as well be prepared for making it one of your favorites. I had been waiting so long for volume two, not even ten minutes after I put volume one down. There's just enough plot, just enough humor, and just enough manly loving that keeps your eyes set and your mind wandering. I have tons of yaoi and manga, and Crimson spell is the most easily spotted in my collection, due to the fact I have to keep it smooshed between bookweights to keep the bent pages straight! I have read it over and over, and I usually read something once, then move on. You'll fall in love with the characters, few as you meet in this one, you'll learn their personalities, and you'll laugh in the middle of inappropriate times from side thoughts by the characters. I've never laughed and felt so in love at the same time! Crimson Spell is definately a must-have, especially for anyone whom loves Yaoi and occassionall corniness. Oh, and the art is good too.

Awesome!!!! A must read!!! Feb 26, 2008

This manga is awesome...yes I know I used that word already but what can I say it really is. This one doesn't disappoint it's an extremely different story line from Ayano Yamane Viewfinder but just as good! The art is just beautiful when one of the main chara. is cursed and turns into a beast it is just so lovely to look at I couldn't take my eyes off it to turn the page. The story line is also very good it also had some comedy which I was not expecting but throughly enjoyed. As for the sex scenes well they are graphic but I like that sort of thing so if you're looking for a very sexy manga with a fantasy story line with dragons and wizards to boot and gorgeous men then pick this one up!!! Can't wait for the books to come out!!!
